This page explains what cookies and similar storage technologies the Trusted Figures website uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

We aim to keep our use of cookies minimal. We only use storage that is needed to make the site and its features work for you.

The website chat assistant stores a session identifier in your browser’s session storage for the length of your visit. This lets the conversation make sense as you move between pages. It is not a persistent tracking identifier and is cleared automatically when you close the tab.

If analytics are enabled on this site, a small number of cookies may be set to count visits and understand how pages are used, in an anonymised way. We will update this page if that changes.

The session identifier is used solely to keep the chat conversation coherent during your visit. Without it, the chat assistant would lose the thread of the conversation each time you navigate to a new page.

Any analytics we use help us understand which parts of the site are useful and where we can improve, without identifying you personally.

You can control and delete cookies and session storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies entirely, delete them on a schedule, or clear them manually at any time.

Clearing your browser’s session storage will end the current chat session. If you return and start a new chat, a new session identifier will be created for that visit.
